Requesting a National Guard Recruiting Display


To request a Connecticut National Guard Recruiting Display, event organizers should submit a completed DD Form 2536 (Request for Armed Forces Participation in Events) (PDF).

The availability of recruiting displays are limited, so requests should be submitted 30 days prior to the event. Less than 30 days notice greatly reduces the chance that a speaker will be available.

Displays available for your event are Freedom 1, the Connecticut Army National Guard’s Recruiting HMMWV, wrapped trucks in night vision, aviation, United States flag, and ACU camouflage pattern themes, an inflatable Army mascot G.I. Johnny, a pull-up bar, a 40 foot inflatable “spider” tent, several basketball and football toss games, a rock wall, and an inflatable obstacle course.
