125th Quartermaster Company returns from Iraq 

WORCESTER, Mass. – Family and friends welcomed home 21 Soldiers from the 125th Quartermaster Company, Massachusetts National Guard, here, May 6, 2010.

The Soldiers, deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, were responsible for all facets of water production and distribution to multinational units on Camp Scania and purified and distributed over 100 million gallons of bulk water.

The 125th was directly responsible for sustaining life on the camp by providing water and support to more than 1,000 residents and hundreds of transients daily. The water this unit purified and distributed was used throughout the camp for drinking, cooking, laundry, personal hygiene, cleaning etc. The 125th also provided the dining facility with sustenance support to include ice, bottled water, beverages and food.
