Col. Araniz takes command of the 151st Regional Support Group

CAMP EDWARDS, Mass. - Col. Enrique Araniz, commander, 151st Regional Support Group, Massachusetts National Guard, receives the colors from Brig. Gen. Paul Smith, Assistant Adjutant General, Massachusetts National Guard, during a change of command ceremony, Nov. 5, 2011, Camp Edwards, Massachusetts. Araniz received his commission as an infantry officer in 1983 from the Massachusetts Military Academy.

CAMP EDWARDS, Mass.   Col. Enrique Araniz, commander, 151st Regional Support Group, Massachusetts National Guard, returns the colors to Command Sgt. Maj. Normand Dubois, Brigade Command Sgt. Maj., 151st  Regional Support Group, Massachusetts National Guard, during a change of command ceremony, Nov. 5, 2011, Camp Edwards, Massachusetts.

The passing of the colors symbolizes the relinquishing of the command from one commander to the next.  For the 151 RSG: Col. Gregory McDonald passed the colors to Araniz.
