Regional Training Institute Graduates Newest Warrant Officers

BOSTON - In the historic headquarters of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, located at Faneuil Hall in Boston, seven Soldiers were sworn in as newly commissioned warrant officers on Oct. 17, 2009.

The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company hosted the newly commissioned warrant officers of the Warrant Officers Candidate Class 09-001. The Soldiers were sworn in by Maj. Gen. Joseph C. Carter, The Adjutant General of the Massachusetts National Guard.

The Soldiers receiving their commissions to the new rank of warrant officer were: Jonathan F. Butt, Justin S. Caverio, Robyn M. Corbin, Jean T. Greenwood, Jacquelyn J. Newton-Paas, Amable D. Peguero and Erika  L. Reinikainen.

Warrant Officer Jean Greenwood was distinguished graduate for: highest academic average, excellence in combined tactical and technical leadership proficiency and for outstanding performance in leadership academics, tactical officer ratings and physical fitness.

Warrant Officer Reinikainen received the award for the candidate who made significant personal sacrifices and demonstrated unyielding tenacity throughout her involvement in the Warrant Officer Candidate Program.

This was the third class to graduate from the 101st Regional Training Institute
