Public Affairs fulfills the Massachusetts National Guard's obligation to keep the citizens of Massachusetts and the members of the Massachusetts National Guard informed, and helps to establish the conditions that lead to confidence in the Massachusetts Guard’s ability to conduct operations in peacetime, conflict and war.

Public Affairs tells the Guard story through several different media, including: the Massachusetts National Guard Website; our quarterly magazine, the “Massachusetts Minuteman;” the “Minuteman Dispatch” electronic newsletter; photographs and videos; and press releases.
