Rhode Island National Guard Announces Return of the RING Open House / Air Show in 2014

QUONSET, RI – The Rhode Island National Guard will once again be hosting the Rhode Island National Guard Open House / Air Show, May 17-18, 2014 at Quonset Air National Guard Base.

The 2014 show will be headlined by the United States Navy Blue Angels and will also feature performances by the United States Army Special Operations Command Jump Team - the Black Daggers, Sean D. Tucker, Rob Holland Ultimate Air Shows, Julie Clark Air Shows, John Klatt Air Shows, the Flash Fire Jet Truck, The Geico Skytypers, and demos of the P-51D Mustang, the A1E Skyraider, and the FM2 Wildcat.

In preparation for the show, the United States Navy Blue Angels advance team will be visiting Quonset Air National Guard base on Jan. 10, 2014. The media is invited to the Operations Building- P-7, Quonset Air National Guard Base on Friday Jan. 10, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for interviews with Blue Angel #7 Lieutenant Ryan Chamberlain and Blue Angel #8 Lieutenant Commander Michael Cheng.

Gen. Kevin R. McBride, the Adjutant General and Commanding General of the Rhode Island National Guard.
