Community College of the Air Force

The United States Air Force (USAF) has always recognized the positive effects of education on Air Force personnel and continually established various programs to meet the needs of the Air Force, its personnel, and society as a whole.  One of the most notable of these programs is the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).  The college is 1 of 14 federally charted degree-granting institutions; however, it is the only 2-year institution and one serving enlisted personnel.  The college awards the associate in applied science degree upon successful completion of a degree program designed for an Air Force specialty.  The Community College of the Air Force is accredited by the Commission on Colleges for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award the associate in applied science degree.

Credits earned through CCAF may also be transferred to other colleges and universities. Each institution varies on the actual number of credits it will accept. Members should contact the school directly to determine transfer availability.
